Concept description: Stappelland is a game for childeren Severe Learning Difficulties. The main character in the game is a spaceship that flies in one direction at a fixed altitude over an alien landscape that consists of different heights. At the start of each level a certain number of given shapes (e.g. a circle, a triangle, a square) are scattered on it. With your tractor beam you can pick one up, carry it with you and drop it onto another shape. These two shapes will then magically transform into a certain (static) object that resembles the two shapes, like a house, a tree, a vehicle or possibly even an animal.
Bonus items can be found on the landscape as well. If you pick it up with your tractor beam it will give you special powers.
Enemies come in the form of a pair of wings that will carry a shape or bonus item as it’s body or is looking for a shape or bonus item on the landscape to pick up and fly around with when it has none. You can shoot the enemy with your onboard gun, which will make the enemy evaporate and drop it’s shape or bonus item. An enemy won’t do your spaceship any harm.
